Uniforms & Equipment
Players are to provide their own ball glove & batting helmet. As well, infielders will be required to provide their own infielding mask.
Blitz provides a jersey to each player to use for the season, to be returned at the end. Players will be given uniform socks and hat and/or visor to keep. Players will need to purchase their own black, knicker style ball pants & a carolina blue belt to complete the uniform. These can be found at local sporting goods stores, Evolution Sports in Leduc offers a Blitz discount.
Competitive teams have the option to use association jerseys or to purchase custom jerseys through their team.
The association will supply bats and balls for the team to use. Many players prefer to purchase their own bat, but that is optional. Coaches can recommend the proper bat to be purchased, ie.proper weight & length.
For softball divisions U9 and up, in the event that the jersey is not returned in good condition at the end of the baseball season, the registrant agrees to allow Beaumont Blitz Fastball Association to charge the credit card used for registration purposes $50 for replacement.
